KNOW GOD OUR FATHER

What is there that my love can not do for you?

God's word reveals his true heart two ways: One is by what words are there, and two, what words are not there.

Look at this picture.

What do you see?  Do you see a cup, or do you see two faces?  Both answers are correct.  God's word, the Bible, tells us we can know him by what is in His word, what light is there,  and what is NOT there, is equally important.

WHAT IS IN THE BIBLE ABOUT GOD OUR FATHER?

Two over arching descriptions of God give us the lenses through which we see Him throughout the Bible.  First, "God IS love" 1 John 4:8.  Secondly, Jesus said He is "Our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."  Matthew 6:9.

Until Jesus spoke of Him as "our father", the scriptures did not refer to Him as Father, or us, as His children. The Bible's "legal" experts at that time understood that if we are God's children, then our Father would be able to guide us as His children independent of their social, economic, and "legal" authority and control of their daily lives and every aspect of the people's lives.

See WHAT OUR FATHER GOD TOLD US ABOUT HIMSELF below.

If you have not examined His word, the Holy Bible,  for what is NOT there, you maybe in for a treat.

SEEING GOD'S LOVE BY WHAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE

For example, did God tell His children that he provides multiple ways to obtain eternal life with Him?  NO.

His words of His loving heart rules. He has one way that is right [righteous] that is another word for God's way, or love.   But He so respects free agency, that if His children reject His loving heart, He does not stop loving them, but yet allows them to experience the results of their choices, wherein they prevent themselves from experiencing His love and comfort.

Here are our questions about what is missing from the New Testament and Bible generally.

1.  Did God ever say there was any other way to get to Heaven, than through Jesus? NO.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

See Know God the Son regarding knowing Jesus who is one with the Father in all respects. John 17:21-26.

2.  Did Jesus ever say there was any other person or way to bring Heaven to earth than by Jesus' way, truth, life?  NO.

3.  Did Jesus ever condition you coming to Heaven based on obeying instructions of any human Prophet, or Priest, or Pope?  NO.

4.  Did the Holy Bible tell us our sins can be forgiven so we can return to our loving Heavenly Father, by our good works, or by any other god, statue, crystals, spirits, angels, aside from His Son's sacrifice for us? NO.

5.   Did Jesus, Father's only begotten Son,  ever say there was any other way of obtaining  Heaven than by our a) loving God, b) loving others including enemies, c) and forgiving and praying for them as He did?  NO.

Jesus said to him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:37

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies: bless them that curse you: do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you, That ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to arise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and unjust.

Matthew 5:41-45

6.   Is there any other means of communicating with God, than directly speaking with a sincere heart to God, with His Holy Spirit, by way of Jesus' heart combined with your heart? NO.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, which giveth to all men liberally, and reproacheth no man, and it shall be given him. James 1:5

7.  Did Jesus ever tell followers that Heaven was only obtainable by wearing special garments, meeting him in secret places, using special signs to get to Heaven?  NO.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he[Jesus] is in the desert, go not forth: Behold, he is in the secret places, believe it not.

Matthew 24:26 (GNV)

8.  Did Jesus say the law of tithing was mandatory to follow Him or to please our Father?  NO.

9.  Did Jesus EVER say his church would set up a massive financial, governmental empire to be turned over to Him when He returns? NO.  His heavenly kingdom will come down with Him. His Temple is in Heaven.

Him that overcometh, will I make a pillar in the Temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the Name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new Name

Revelation 3:12

10. Did Jesus say any building was essential for worship that is pleasing to our Father? NO

Know ye not, that your body is the temple of the holy Ghost, which is in you, whom ye have of God? and ye are not your own. For ye are bought for a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit: for they are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

.....  ye are the Temple of the living God: as God hath said, I will dwell among them, and walk there: and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2 Corinthians 6:16

11.  Did Jesus ever say he wanted anything but for our heart, to know,  through the Holy Spirit, His loving heart, and be "one" with our Father's heart, as Jesus and the Father are one? NO.

Read the most sacred Prayer of Jesus just before the Romans came to take him to his horrible beating and crucifixion in our place.

20 I pray not for these alone, but for them also which shall believe in me, through their word,

21 That they all may be one, as thou, O Father, art in me, and I in thee: even that they may be also one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the glory that thou gavest me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one,

23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.

John 17:20-23

12.  Did Jesus ever say the condition of one's birth, sex, race, nationality, political orientation, qualified any human to be superior to another person in our Father's eyes? NO.

You can probably think of other things Jesus never said that will be a treat for you.  Jesus Christ fulfilled the "law" with grace and truth by an incomprehensible ALL mighty ALL knowing love to make us His living temples. See, Know God the Son.

Can you imagine?

We are His children, playing in sandbox called earth. He tells us to play nice, love other children, love Him, and share our blessings, solely for the joy of knowing we are helping another child, our brother or sister, whom our Father God loves, in behalf of Him.  He wants us to joyfully help others as the Holy Spirit directs us, His heart with  our Heart, joyfully, for the glory of HIS love for us.

13. Ask, does God require churches with large bank accounts, powerful political connections, to build His kingdom for His return?

God can put coins in fishes' mouths (Matt. 17:27), multiply food (John 6:1; 21:9), turn water to wine (John 2:1-4), and knows and speaks to each person's heart individually through the Father's Holy Spirit.

For this is the Testament that I will make with the house of Israel, After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my Laws in their mind, and in their heart I will write them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Hebrew 8:10

WHAT OUR FATHER GOD TOLD US ABOUT HIMSELF

He is all heart.

This is one evidence that our Father considers that 1) thinking with His loving merciful heart, to free men from guilt and shame, and for protective motives, 2)  is superior to men's logic and reason, often done without a loving heart for selfish motives to control men by deception, fear, shame, and pride.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts above your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:9

Our living God is all heart and life itself.   "God IS love." 1 John 4:8.

Our Father God sacrificed His only Son, God himself Jesus the Messiah, the innocent Great Lamb of God, to save us from punishment for our sins that we all committed in our hearts or physically.

15 That whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loveth the world, that he hath given his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world, that he should [d]condemn the world, but that the [e]world through him might be saved.

John 3:15-17   These few words are the most loving words our Father can say to us as to how important our love of Him, is to Him.

Consider this:

The word "mind" appears 183 times GNV. It appears 132 times in the King James Version (KJV).

The word "heart" appears 942 times in the entire Bible; 777 times in the Old Testament, and 165 in the New Testament. GNV   In the King James version, "heart" appears 884 times, 724 in the Old Testament, 160 in the New Testament.

Father's heart is with His children.  The word "child" appears 1644 times; 1437 in the Old Testament, and 207 in the New Testament GNV. It appears 1502 times in the KJV Old Testament, and 206 in the New Testament.

God our Father, incomprehensibly almighty in every respect, is our greatest example of mercy and love and forgiveness, transcending time, dimensions and space. [ ] are our clarifying notes.

16 For God so loveth the world, [you and us], that he hath given his only begotten Son, [Jesus] that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world, that he should condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth in him, is not condemned: but he that believeth not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of that only begotten Son of God.

John 3:16-18

Let us examine what else the Bible says about God.

1.   How many Gods are in existence? One.

...ye shall understand that I am: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me I, even I am the Lord, and beside me there is no Savior.   Isaiah 43:10

I am the Lord, and there is none other; there is no God besides me:

Isaiah 45 : 5

King Solomon prayed having seen the Lord,

23 And said, O Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in heaven above, or in the earth beneath, thou that keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee, with all their heart,

1 Kings 8:23 and 2 Chronicles 6:14

2.   Does God the Father have a physical body?  No. Jesus said,

God is a Spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in Spirit and Truth.

John 4: 24

3.   How does God function?   God's word describes himself as having three persons' functioning together perfectly in one living  "God". [ ] are my clarifying notes.

2 Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ [ both unified by and within whom the Holy Ghost lives.]

Ephesians 1:2

A.   God the Father is the will, the heart's intent of the highest ultimate authority and power of all that is created.

Furthermore God said, Let us make man in our image according to our likeness, Genesis 1:26

He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the most High

Luke 1:32 [speaking of Jesus].

B.   God the Son, the Lord, Jesus Christ speaks the words of the Father's heart, and does His will lovingly and by free choice perfectly.

1 In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God.

2 This same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made.

4 In it was life, and that life was the light of men.

John 1: 1-4

This "Word" is, from the beginning, which is different than the Law of God as the word of God only beginning with Moses.

Jesus defines this unity...

JAll things are given unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father: neither knoweth any man the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

Matthew 11:27

C.  God the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit is the power of the word coming from Jesus which is life, according to the Father's will

2 And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the waters.

3 Then God said, Let there be light: And there was light.

Genesis 1

4. God speaks to the old testament Prophet Zechariah about what he desires for His people to live by in their hearts, since this is God's heart.

15 So again have I determined in these days to do well unto Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

16 These are the things that ye shall do, Speak ye every man the truth unto his neighbor: execute judgment truly, and uprightly in your gates,

17 And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor, and love no false oath: for all these are the things that I hate, saith the Lord.

Zechariah 8:15-17.

The bottom line about God our Father, is that His heart has and is devoted to loving you, using His Holy Spirit and His own Son, to free you from Satan's plans to destroy you.

He has given us the gift of "faith", and a command to trust His way, instead of trusting Satan's lies of a "fake happiness" that leads to our broken hearts, pain, suffering, and eternal death, Satan uses to destroy every beautiful thing God created, including the love in our hearts.

God  has one way...love.  Satan has one way...hate.  Which way do we choose?

Now go to "Know God the Son", a precious treasure the Father gave us, to find God's most precious treasure...the mystery here.
