THE SACRED CHAMBER OF PRAYERS
We asked "what is "prayer"? When we speak with our hearts to God as if He is right here. What if the Bible shows how He is talking to us from His heart? Isn't that His heart speaking to ours? Isn't that prayer also? He knows all about you, and loves you.
JESUS, OUR LORD, OUR KING, OUR SHEPHARD, OUR GOD, WHO IS LOVE, IS SPEAKING. HE IS KNOCKING. IF WE ANSWER HE WILL COME IN AND VISIT.
The single most important prayer we can say is the similar one that Jesus prayed to the Father from His heart, His last prayer just before He was taken away by Romans to be beaten and crucified for our sins. His heart was crying out for us to be "one" with them.
"Dear Father, I pray that you will forgive me for my selfish sins. Please make my heart one with yours and Jesus' loving heart. For our world, please make all our hearts one with yours by your love and your son Jesus' pain and suffering for us. Thank you for loving me enough for you innocent Son Jesus, who is God to love me enough to die for me, to and be one with you, as Jesus is one with you. "
John 17:21-26. Jesus says our Father loves us as much as He loves Jesus.
Here is a new way for us to hear God speaking to us. in the Bible King David and Prophet Isaiah wrote prayers to God, that we call psalms. Here is part of one that is very popular.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures.
Now how did David hear God's voice?
David, I am your Good shepherd. You shall not want. I make you to lie down in my green pastures. etc.
Here are some psalms we rewrote the way God may be speaking to us, one with His heart, to hear how much He is FOR us in all ways after His death for us.
