KNOW GOD THE SON-
TO SAY JESUS THE MESSIAH, IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF THE FATHER
SAYS IT ALL---
The Apostle Paul gave each of us a serious warning!
8 Beware lest there be any man that spoil you through philosophy, and vain deceit, through the traditions of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
Colossians 2:8-10
We reasoned 1) if Paul spoke the truth, 2) then if we worship a 'false' Jesus Christ, or no Christ, 3) we can risk losing our eternal life after we die. So asking who is the "real" Jesus Christ would be our most important life's question.
Jesus said", I am that Way, and that Truth, and that Life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me."...he that hath seen me, hath seen my Father"
John 14:6, 9
We asked what "expert" on Jesus do we follow to know Him? We were discovering, as you may do also, that we follow Jesus and those He chose to reveal Him in the Bible. Men and women may share what they learn, but we must always look to Jesus and the Holy Bible to follow Him.
JESUS TOLD US WE EACH HAVE A HEAVENLY ENTITLEMENT
Jesus announced to all of us that we have an entitlement to approach our Father with our hearts, exactly as Jesus did.
After this manner therefore pray ye, Our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Matthew 6:9
We can ask the Father to know who the true Jesus is, if He is "that way."
But what does Jesus mean about being "that way"?
So looking only at the Bible, no outside teachers, doing our Bible word searches, we found this much.
1. Jesus' conception was supernatural. Jesus was conceived by the Father's Holy Spirit, not by sexual intercourse with any angel or resurrected being. An angel assured Joseph that Mary, Jesus mother was a virgin, and pure, "for that which is conceived in her, is of the holy Ghost." Matthew 1:20.
2. Jesus is our Father's ONLY begotten Son. The Father, as we saw in "Know God the Father" is spirit. By the Holy Ghost, the Father's spirit, Jesus, His Son, is His ONLY physically begotten Son.
2. Jesus is our creator with the Father. Jesus is the Living Word, and our creator (John 1:1) who spoke us and the earth and heavens into existence, by speaking the Father's will, and by the Holy Spirit's power to manifest the Father's will, as the Son's spoke His word.
3. Jesus says He is "one"" with the Father. (John 17:21-26). Remember, we are "thinking" with our hearts not our logical minds. Jesus said, "he that hath seen me, hath seen my Father. Believest thou not, that I am in the Father, and the Father is in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." John 14:9-10.
4. Jesus death was how God dies. The Father being "one" with His Son who is God made human, suffered and "died" for each of us to eliminate our sins and re-birth us into spiritual beings, by grace and mercy, and God who is love, living within our physical "temples", in communication with our Father and His Son continually.
7. SO, WE ASK NOW, Who really IS Jesus? He is the living God! He is complete personification in a human glorified body, of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, almighty God.
One of our favorite and the most powerful sermons ever presented about Jesus based only on the Bible is presented by Dr. S.M. Lockeridge. Perhaps you may enjoy it also.

We asked is Jesus human and God? So as we see Jesus as a human man, He and His Father in their hearts have been one from before the beginning of our world.
1 In the beginning was that Word, and that Word was with God, and that Word was God.
2 This same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by it, and without it was made nothing that was made.
4 In it was life, and that life was the light of men.
5 And that light shineth in the wilderness, and the darkness comprehendeth it not.
......
9 This was [t]that true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him: and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them he gave prerogative to be the sons of God, even to them that believe in his Name,
13 Which are born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we saw the glory thereof, as the glory of the only begotten Son of the Father) full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-5, 9-14.
We asked
So what is Jesus really like?
God IS love (1 John 4:8). Jesus is love.
Jesus is one with the Father (John 14:7). Jesus is our creator, with the Father and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1: 26). Jesus is the living Word (John 1:1-3) who spoke all into existence. Jesus knows all (1 John 3:20) about everyone and everything, who also created and controls time (Genesis 1:14), and understands our hearts (Luke 16:15).
,
Jesus says that He is the living God almighty, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. (Rev. 1:8).
Does Jesus have all our Father's authority and power?
Upon His resurrection Jesus, the living word, said
And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me, in heaven, and in earth.
So we asked how do we, process this information? What does that say to me?
So why are we told to "fear" God? "Fear" means to be in total "awe" of. Complete respect for a King who lives without limitations, with one purpose to transform and create from love.
So we asked, what would it be like, If Jesus were to sit down next to us, be fully attentive and and patient, hold our hand, hug us, listen to our heart's pains and joys, now knowing that His heart would also, through the Holy Spirit, communicate no less lovingly with all of His creations in all of Heaven and Earth at the same time with a Heavenly love we cannot fully understand in this dimension of existance.
Now consider, there is nothing about you Jesus does not know, identically as the Father, from before you were born, from the foundations of the world. No one can lie to Him. His heart knows all.
3 Blessed be God, and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which hath blessed us, with all spiritual blessing in heavenly things in Christ,
4 As he hath chosen us in him, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in love:
5 Who hath predestinated us, to be adopted through Jesus Christ in himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.
Ephesians 1:3-5
Can we possibly envision sitting with a living glorified flesh and bones, living God of such magnitudes of power and intellect knowing ALL within our hearts? And yet He chose to become human, and died and resurrected in place of us, for us to be not only "saved" but exalted in His glory, with His loving heart within ours. How would we respond to such a visit? SPEECHLESS UTTERLY COMPLETE AWE, comes to mind.
Knowing His magnitudes of intellect, power, rooted in love, can we trust His love? Can we trust His intellect and power holding heavens and worlds in place? Can we TRUST Him with our very heart and our life's destiny?
Can we trust Him to get us back to Heaven, no matter the trials and pains we suffer here? Yes.
Is there any other "god" that people worship who can do all that Jesus did for us, the way Jesus did? No, only Jesus is the complete personification of our living loving Father in Heaven. Jesus well knew He and only He, was the complete expression of the Father's love, that is, and always has been, "that way, that truth, that life." John 14:6
16 For God so loveth the world, that he hath given his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world, that he should condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth in him, is not condemned: but he that believeth not, is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of that only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-17
But he was wounded for our transgressions: he was broken for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes are we healed. All we like sheep have gone astray: we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid upon him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 53:5-6
5 Even when we were dead by sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, by whose grace ye are saved,
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
7 That he might show in the ages to come the exceeding riches of his grace through his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:5-7
More Questions we raised.
1. Conception: Jesus' mother Mary, conceived Jesus by the Holy Ghost, not by any sexual intercourse with a physical being.
Matthew 1:20
for that which is conceived in her, is of the Holy Ghost.
2. Does Jesus have a body? Yes, He is alive with a resurrected glorified body.
Jesus died, after being beaten and crucified in our behalf for our sins.
Jesus said,
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
John 10:17
3. Can we take our bodies up again, like Jesus? Yes, if we give our hearts to Jesus, we have eternal life now, and forever, and when the Father tells Jesus to return to earth to bring his kingdom with Him, the dead shall bodily resurrect and "take it up again". Jesus further said, after His resurrection, that He had "flesh and bones". He is alive.
Behold mine hands and my feet: for it is I myself: handle me, and see: for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
14 For if we believe that Jesus is dead, and is risen, even so them which sleep in Jesus, will God bring with him.
15 For this say we unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which live, and are remaining in the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them which sleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, and with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then shall we which live and remain, be caught up with them also in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:14-17
4. Did Jesus ask people for money, or tell them they had to build big buildings, or create an "earthly kingdom" that glorifies man's accomplishments, and not God's glory. No.
Jesus told us, only God's love in our hearts, as He exemplifies it, is "the way". to the Father's heart. Ancient followers of Jesus said they were of "that way".
38 This is the first and the great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hangeth the whole Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus also said to trust His love for us.
24 Therefore I say unto you, Whatsoever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye shall have it, and it shall be done unto you.
25 But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgive, if ye have anything against any man, that your Father also which is in heaven, may forgive you your trespasses.
26 For if you will not forgive, your Father which is in heaven, will not pardon you your trespasses.
Mark 11:24-26
Our enemy is just another child God created, and we are to love and "forgive them for they know not what to do", just as Jesus did on the cross before He said "it is finished".
42 Give to him that asketh, and from him that would borrow of thee, turn not away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies: bless them that curse you: do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which hurt you, and persecute you,
45 That ye may be the children of your father that is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to arise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and unjust.
46 For if ye love them, which love you, what reward shall you have? Do not the Publicans even the same?
47 And if ye be friendly to your brethren only, what singular thing do ye? do not even the Publicans likewise?
48 Ye shall therefore be perfect, as your Father which is in heaven, is perfect.
, Matt. 5:42-45 7.
"Perfect" means living life "one" with the Father's heart to guide
us daily in His mercy and patience and grace.
5. Does the Father love me as much as Jesus? Yes! Why? Because, Jesus, the Living Word, speaking the words of the Father's heart by His Holy Spirit, 1) asked the Father to show us that He loves us as much as He loves His only Son who willingly died for us, 2) knowing that we are trusting in the love of God's very blood of the Son's loving heart's sacrifice that is the only way to save, redeem, justify, sanctify, purify, exalt and glorify us. God loves us as much as Him who
20 I pray not for these alone, but for them also which shall believe in me, through their word,
21 That they all may be one, as thou, O Father, art in me, and I in thee: even that they may be also one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory that thou gavest me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one,
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they which thou hast given me, be with me even where I am, that they may behold that my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world also hath not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known, that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy Name, and will declare it, that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
John 17:20-26
This prayer is Jesus' heart's desire said just before the Romans came to take him to a phony trial, public humiliation, punishment for his thoughts and speech, persecuted for the truth He spoke, reviled by children of Satan, beaten horrifically and brutally, and then crucified as punishment for our sins, since he was innocent.
6. Is Jesus returning to rule the world for a thousand years? Jesus said
2 In my Father’s house are many dwelling places: if it were not so, I would have told you: I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there may ye be also.
4 And whither I go, ye know, and the way ye know.
John 14:2-4
7. What does Jesus look like physically?
In life on earth He was not physically handsome or desirable.
In Heaven, John saw Him as follows:
13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one like unto the son of man, clothed with a garment down to the feet, and girded about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and hairs were white as white wool, and as snow, and his eyes were as a flame of fire,
15 And his feet like unto fine brass burning as in a furnace: and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword, and his face shone as the sun shineth in his strength.
17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead: then he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not: I am that first and that last,
18 And am alive, but I was dead: and behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen: and I have the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:13-18
